“Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things” Theodore Levitt

As we accelerate towards 2030, the Paris Agreement deadline date to reduce emissions by 45%, the supply chain landscape is set to undergo transformative changes.

Since late July, international sporting events have dominated airtime. They also attracted huge attendance, with almost 21k fans at each Paris Olympics game, and the first week of the U.S Open breaking previous attendance records.

But it has been the Paris Paralympics, and the personal achievements they showcased, that have truly captivated us. The challenges these athletes have overcome is nothing short of awe-inspiring, and it is hugely motivating to see what pure determination and hard work can achieve.

It makes us wonder what a similar level of focus and can-do attitude could achieve if it was directed to reducing our impact on the climate. Sadly, a recent report by Morgan Stanley Capital International reveals that most of the world’s biggest companies are falling behind in the race to net zero. Their Net Zero Tracker found that four in five listed companies have not committed to decarbonization to achieve net-zero. Maybe we need to take a leaf out of the Paralympians books about overcoming adversity?

As we accelerate towards 2030, the Paris Agreement deadline date to reduce emissions by 45%, the supply chain landscape is set to undergo transformative changes. Our latest whitepaper ‘The Supply Chain of 2030’ highlights five megatrends driving these shifts, and offers you a roadmap to a safer, more efficient and sustainable logistics future.

Of course, if our whitepaper or any of the content below sparks your interest, don’t hesitate to contact myself or the team to talk more about how we can help you.
